London Fog

An Earl Grey Lavender Latte

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Earl Grey Tea Bag or enough loose leaf for 1 cup of tea
  • 1 C Milk or Creamer of Choice

Lavender Simple Syrup

  • ½ C Sugar
  • ½ C Water
  • 1 TBSP Dried Lavender Food Grade

Instructions
 

Lavender Simple Syrup

  • Combine water and sugar in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  • Once boiling, add the dried lavender and lower the heat to a simmer. Let steep for 3-5 minutes depending on how strong you would prefer the lavender flavor to be.
  • Strain out lavender, cool, and store in an air tight container in the fridge.

London Fog

  • Steep one cup of Earl Grey tea.
  • While tea is steeping, heat milk or cream until just before it begins to boil.
  • Once heated, froth milk with a hand frother, french press, or whisk until light and foamy.
  • Add desired amount of lavender syrup into tea. We recommend starting with ½ to a full TBSP.
  • Pour your frothed milk on top of tea and enjoy!
