Iced Green Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp gunpowder green tea, or preference
  • 2 ½ C Water

Simple Syrup

  • ½ C Sugar
  • ½ C Water

Instructions
 

  • On the stove combine sugar and water for the simple syrup and bring to boil. Once boiling stir for 3 minutes and remove from heat. Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
  • Heat water to 175°F. You can also bring it to a boil and let it sit for 3 minutes to cool, this usually gets you close to 175°F
  • Combine water with the tea leaves in a jar or French press, Allow to steep for 2-3 minutes.
  • Strain the leaves out and pour over ice.
  • Mix in simple syrup (we prefer around 1TBSP).
