Rosemary and Lemon Sour

Ingredients
  

Rosemary Syrup

  • ½ C sugar
  • ½ C water
  • 2 springs rosemary

Rosemary and Lemon Sour Cocktail

  • tbsp rosemary simple syrup
  • 1 oz bourbon
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • Rosemary sprigs for garnish

Mocktail

  • 2 oz Lemon lime soda or sparkling
  • tbsp rosemary syrup
  • tbsp lemon juice
  • Rosemary sprigs for garnish

Instructions
 

Rosemary Syrup

  • Combine the water, sugar, and rosemary sprigs in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Decrease heat and let simmer until sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Remove from heat. Let syrup steep for at least 15 minutes. Allow for a longer steep time if you prefer a stronger rosemary flavor. 
  • Remove rosemary sprigs and cool syrup before pouring syrup into a sterilized glass jar. Store in fridge up to two weeks. 

Rosemary and Lemon Sour Cocktail

  • Combine all cocktail ingredients, add ice if desired, and garnish with rosemary sprigs and lemon.
