Smash Burgers

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground meat
  • Yellow onion sliced
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Make 1/3 cup balls, loose of hamburger meat. Place straight onto the preheated griddle.
  • Once they've started to brown, use a piece of parchment and a burger press, spatula, or pan to smash the meat balls to 1/4" thickness.
  • Season with seasonings.
  • Flip after 3 minutes and move to one side of the griddle, add onions to open space and start to caramelize them.
  • After 3 more minutes pull Patties and add buns to toast.
  • Assemble and enjoy!!
