Cowboy Beans on the Grill

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ c bacon bits or crumbled cooked bacon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 large diced onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper seeded & diced
  • 28 oz pork & beans undrained
  • 15 oz kidney beans drain and rinse
  • 18 oz BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 c brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Brown beef. Add onion and bell pepper, cook until softened.
  • Combine beef mixture, bacon, beans, seasonings, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar in a foil pan.
  • Place on a 250° grill or smoker. Cook until beans or done, about 1 hour.
