Dairy Free Soda Bread
- 1 ¾ Cup Buttermilk for dairy free use your favorite milk alternative and add 2 Tbsp of white distilled vinegar.
- 2 cups bread flour
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp Baking soda
- 2 tsp of salt
Preheat your oven to 400°F
Mix together your bread flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add half you milk and mix. Then slowly add more milk until you have a slightly sticky dough.
Add to a baking tray that is dusted with flour, cut almost all the way through into quarters.
Bake for 45 minutes to an hour until it is a darker brown and sounds hollow when taped.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting and eating.
