Iced Green Tea
- 4 tbsp gunpowder green tea, or preference
- 2 ½ C Water
On the stove combine sugar and water for the simple syrup and bring to boil. Once boiling stir for 3 minutes and remove from heat. Store in the fridge in an air tight container.
Heat water to 175°F. You can also bring it to a boil and let it sit for 3 minutes to cool, this usually gets you close to 175°F
Combine water with the tea leaves in a jar or French press, Allow to steep for 2-3 minutes.
Strain the leaves out and pour over ice.
Mix in simple syrup (we prefer around 1TBSP).
