Lemon Lavender Tea
Lemon Lavender Syrup:
- 1 Cup Water
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Dried Lavender
- Zest of a Lemon ~ 1/2 Tbsp
- Juice of 1 Lemon ~ 1/2 Cup
Tea:
- 1 Tea Bag Your favorite, we use Breakfast in Paris from Stash!
- Boiling water
- 1/2 – 1 Tbsp Lemon Lavender Syrup
Lemon Lavender Syrup:
Method: Combine sugar and water in a sauce pan on medium heat. Bring to a boil. Once sugar is dissolved, lower to medium low heat, add the Lavender and simmer until it is desired thickness. about 20 minutes. Once Thick add the Lemon Zest and Let steep for about 10 minutes. Add Lemon Juice, Strain, Bottle/Jar and allow to cool without lid. Once cool it's ready to be sealed. Will keep in fridge for 2 weeks to 1 month.
