London Fog
An Earl Grey Lavender Latte
Ingredients
- 1 Earl Grey Tea Bag or enough loose leaf for 1 cup of tea
- 1 C Milk or Creamer of Choice
Lavender Simple Syrup
- ½ C Sugar
- ½ C Water
- 1 TBSP Dried Lavender Food Grade
Instructions
Lavender Simple Syrup
- Combine water and sugar in small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Once boiling, add the dried lavender and lower the heat to a simmer. Let steep for 3-5 minutes depending on how strong you would prefer the lavender flavor to be.
- Strain out lavender, cool, and store in an air tight container in the fridge.
London Fog
- Steep one cup of Earl Grey tea.
- While tea is steeping, heat milk or cream until just before it begins to boil.
- Once heated, froth milk with a hand frother, french press, or whisk until light and foamy.
- Add desired amount of lavender syrup into tea. We recommend starting with ½ to a full TBSP.
- Pour your frothed milk on top of tea and enjoy!
