Rosemary and Lemon Sour
Rosemary Syrup
- ½ C sugar
- ½ C water
- 2 springs rosemary
Rosemary and Lemon Sour Cocktail
- 1½ tbsp rosemary simple syrup
- 1 oz bourbon
- ½ tbsp lemon juice
- Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Mocktail
- 2 oz Lemon lime soda or sparkling
- 1½ tbsp rosemary syrup
- 1½ tbsp lemon juice
- Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Rosemary Syrup
Combine the water, sugar, and rosemary sprigs in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Decrease heat and let simmer until sugar is fully dissolved.
Remove from heat. Let syrup steep for at least 15 minutes. Allow for a longer steep time if you prefer a stronger rosemary flavor.
Remove rosemary sprigs and cool syrup before pouring syrup into a sterilized glass jar. Store in fridge up to two weeks.
